Six and Seven Tours has designed short safari tours itineraries for those who don’t have enough time to do Wildlife Tanzania safari for multiple days but still wants to get the glimpse of the safari. This day trip gives you the chance to explore the famous ‘world famous, the Ngorongoro Crater’, nicknamed the eighth wonder of the world. The crater is the world largest inactive caldera which host varieties of animals includes the rare black Rhino.
Ngorongoro crater harbors greater diversity of wildlife species that co – exists with human. You will descend down the crater 600meters or more for game view of the big five animals like the lion, Leopard, buffalo, Elephant, hyena and rhinoceros.
The tour departs from Arusha/ Moshi town from your hotel with picnic lunch box and drive to Ngorongoro crater. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephant, the lake area with hippocampus , where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
After lunch you will drive back to Moshi / Arusha, taking approximately 2-3 hours.
