You will be picked up by one of our professional guide from JRO airport; he will escort you to your assigned accommodation facility and brief you on the next day’s activity. Our guides have full knowledge of our country, culture, flora and fauna as well as experience and full of ethics. So you will be in good safe hands from the day you lay your feet on the soil of Tanzania to the moment you leave.
After breakfast you will head off to Arusha National Park which covers Mount Meru, a prominent volcano with an elevation of 4566 m, in the Arusha Region of north eastern Tanzania. The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River; the peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim. Ngurdoto Crater in the south-east is grassland. The shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the north-east have varying algal colours and are known for their wading birds.
After breakfast you will head off to Tarangire national park located just a few hours’ drive from the town of Arusha, Tarangire is a popular stop for people travelling through the northern safari circuit on their way to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. The park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit.
Descending to Ngorongoro Crater which harbors greater diversity of wildlife species that co-exist with human. Apart from the famous Ngorongoro main crater, there are Empakai and Olmoti craters, which are smaller and less famous compared to the former
Beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, that’s were lays Lake Manyara National Park which offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. After having breakfast, you will then head to this park, for the alkaline soda of Lake Manyara which is home to an incredible array of bird life that thrives on its brackish waters. Pink flamingo stops and graze by the thousand’s colorful specks against the grey minerals of the lake shore. Yellow-billed storks swoop and corkscrew on thermal winds rising up from the escarpment, and herons flap their wings against the sun-drenched sky, famous tree-climbing lions and the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. And then head to Arusha for your flight back home.
